Alamos Canyon Trail

The trail begins on the north side of the railroad tracks at the northern end of Quimisa Drive. That road intersects Los Angeles Avenue approximately 1/2 mile west of the city’s landfill. Quimisa Drive crosses the railroad tracks, a signalized crossing, and turns to the west a short distance and terminates at the entry gate of the county park. The trail is roughly a six-mile roundtrip.

Location
The trail is located off West Los Angeles Ave., east of Moorpark College. Turn into the Oak Park County Park, 901 Quimisa Drive, Simi Valley. Once you enter the park, the first road on the right leads to the Alamos Canyon Trailhead and parking lot.

Fees
$2/per vehicle on weekdays; $5/per vehicle on weekends/ holidays.

Hours
Daily, Dawn to Dusk.
