Registration for Summer Day Camp Starts April 1st 2024 at 8:00am

First day of Summer Camp is June 10th.  Daily registration is $41/day. 

Please Be Advised - Registration closes at 5pm on the Friday prior to each week.*

Camp hours are 9:00am-4:30pm.  Early drop off beginning at 6:45am and late pick up until 6:00pm are available at no additional charge.

-What Summer Camp locations will be available? Are there programming differences between locations?

Summer Camp will be held at the following locations:

Summer camp programming is consistent throughout all locations except for some activities based on locality. For example, Houghton Summer Camp offers walking field trips to Regal Movie Theater. See details on Movie Walking Trips Here

-How old do participants have to be to attend Summer Camp?

Camps are open to children entering TK (3 years and 9 months [45 Months]) all the way to 6th grade …*Teen camps are also available- see C.I.T. Summer Program for more info.*  
Children must be potty trained.

-How much are Summer Camp fees? Is there a weekly or sibling discount?

The daily rate for summer camp is $41. Participants can sign up for one day or for all five days of the week. Registration is per day, and there is no discounted weekly rate. If you want to sign up for the entire week, participants would have to register for the five separate days. We do not offer a sibling discount. Field trips are not included in the daily rate. 

-Can I sign up for half the day?

Only full day camp is available. Participants would have to sign up for one full day of camp.

-What is your Refund Policy?

Refunds for camp will only be granted if you notify the front desk staff (or request via the Amilia app) by the Thursday prior to the week that you are registered. No refunds will be granted past 5pm on Thursdays. No refunds will be granted at all for field trips. Please note a A $5 administration fee will apply. -Are field trips included in the daily rate?

No. Field trip sign-ups will be available for an additional fee and require a separate registration. Participants must be registered for both the summer camp day and the field trip. Field trips are optional. Register for field trips here

-How often do you go on field trips?

Field trips occur once a week starting the second week of camp. Field trips will be held on Wednesdays. Please note you must also register for the summer camp day! Field Trip schedule below:

-Will there be weekly pool trips? Does my child have to know how to swim to sign up?

Yes. Participants from all site locations will have the option to sign up for weekly trips to the Rancho Simi Pool. Pool Trips will be on Thursdays. Participants can register for these pool trips for an additional fee (register here). Participants must know how to swim no exceptions! Participants will be required to take a swim test upon arrival to the pool. Pool Trip Schedule Below:

-What is the staff participant ratio?

Our ratios are 1:10/12 when on-site, and 1:8 on field trips, and 1:5 on water field trips. Each summer camp location has designated highly experienced Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors, and Recreation Counselors.

-Will food/snacks be provided?

We will offer an optional afternoon snack every day. On Fridays, participants have the option of purchasing a special lunch for the day. Sign-ups for Special Lunch Fridays will be available as an add on to the daily registration.  

-What kind of activities are planned?

At Rancho Simi Summer Camp, we offer nine (almost ten) fun filled, individually themed weeks packed with arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, songs, and activities for everyone! Children will participate in exhilarating group game activities such as obstacle courses, relay races, and team sports. We also offer a variety of craft activities that correspond with the weekly themes. Optional special activities such as pool trips and off-site field trips are also offered for an additional cost.
